Medical Weight Loss Telehealth Tennessee
You'll be taken to our secure HIPAA-compliant booking portal
Medically supervised weight management including FDA-approved medications, personalized treatment plans, and ongoing monitoring via telehealth — Wegovy, Zepbound, Foundayo, Saxenda, Qsymia, and Contrave.
If you've been thinking about weight loss medications but the landscape feels overwhelming — compounding pharmacies, no follow-up, providers you've never met — Garrett Health Services offers a different path. We provide real medical weight loss care with FDA-approved medications only, real labs, and a single provider who knows your chart from week one through year one.
Medical Weight Loss is priced in three phases so your spend matches the intensity of care you actually need. Start with a Month 1 Bundle ($235) that includes your consultation, first month of services, and baseline labs. Move into Active Management ($135/mo) for months 2–6 during titration. Once you're stable, you'll graduate to Maintenance ($99/mo) from month 7 forward.
This is phase-based pricing for the weight loss program specifically. Our general Ongoing Care Plans (M2M $135/mo, 3-month $365, 6-month $630) remain available for patients who want a broader care relationship beyond weight loss alone.
Based out of Cookeville, TN, we serve the Upper Cumberland region, as well as patients located across the state of Tennessee.

You've been using a compounded GLP-1 and want to transition to an FDA-approved option
You have type 2 diabetes or prediabetes and want metabolic-focused care
Oral medication options interest you — including Foundayo (orforglipron), the newest FDA-approved oral GLP-1 with no food or water restrictions
You've tried weight loss before and want a structured, monitored program
You travel for work and need predictable telehealth access
You're rural and prefer at-home care and services to manage your weight loss journey

A few situations rule out GLP-1 therapy or require a different approach. We screen carefully and discuss alternatives if any apply.
Personal or family history of medullary thyroid cancer (MTC) or MEN2 — GLP-1 contraindication
Current pregnancy, actively trying to conceive, or breastfeeding
History of pancreatitis or active gallbladder disease (caution; case-by-case)
eGFR < 30 mL/min/1.73m² (severe kidney impairment)
Active or suspected eating disorder — referral to specialist first
Patients on oral hormonal contraceptives considering Foundayo will need a barrier method or non-oral contraceptive during titration- discussed at consultation
Current opioid therapy is incompatible with Contrave specifically
Uncontrolled hypertension or active suicidality (Contrave)
-
Our clinical protocol authorizes only FDA-approved, branded medications for weight management. Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide formulations vary in purity, dosing accuracy, and supply chain — we don't take that risk with our patients.
If cost is the concern, we'll work through manufacturer savings programs (NovoCare, LillyDirect), oral options, or the combination oral agents (Qsymia, Contrave) which can be substantially less expensive than injectable GLP-1s.
-
GLP-1s and other weight loss medications work best alongside real changes to how you eat and move, not instead of them. During your visits, we'll talk about protein intake and eating patterns that support your results, physical activity that helps preserve muscle mass as you lose weight (this matters more than most people realize on these medications), and how to build habits that hold up once you're off the medication or in maintenance. This isn't a lecture and it isn't generic advice handed to every patient - it's part of an ongoing conversation, adjusted to where you actually are.
If you're looking for someone to just write a prescription and disappear, this isn't that. If you want a provider who treats the whole picture, this is designed for you.

Weight loss medications are powerful tools, but they require careful selection, real labs, and ongoing monitoring to be both safe and effective. This service is designed for patients who want a medically supervised program — not a one-time prescription.
Medications are prescribed based on clinical evaluation, eligibility, and informed consent. Compounded GLP-1 formulations are not prescribed through this service. Not all patients will be candidates; we screen carefully and discuss alternatives when needed.
