Skyelar has been in healthcare since 2011, with experience across multiple care settings including critical care, cardiology, and correctional healthcare. Her background also includes travel nursing, giving her firsthand understanding of the challenges that come with moving frequently, managing unpredictable schedules, and finding reliable healthcare in new environments.

She has worked as a nurse practitioner in inpatient surgical critical care and cardiology, and currently serves as a provider within the Tennessee Department of Corrections.

Her clinical foundation spans every level of patient care, including CNA, LPN, RN, and NP roles, with experience in ICU settings, mental health, rehabilitation, dermatology, and geriatrics.

Skyelar is passionate about providing accessible, relationship-based care that meets patients where they are, especially those navigating travel, transition, or limited access to healthcare.
